As an affiliate organization of the MLA, the International Brecht Society (IBS) is organizing two sessions at the 1998 conference in San Francisco (Dec. 27-30). We are seeking abstracts by April 1 on the following two topics:
Those chosen to participate in the panels must become members of the MLA and of the IBS. Also, the presenters must agree to have their abstracts posted on the IBS Brecht website (http://german.lss.wisc.edubrecht).
The session on "Brecht, Utopia, Postsocialism" has been rescheduled for 12:00 noon-1:15 p.m. in the Windsor Room of the Sheraton Centre. This change will be listed in the Convention News and Program Update.
